WAGroups runs on ordinary shared hosting as well as on a VPS.
- PHP 8.2 or newer with the usual extensions: pdo_mysql (or pdo_sqlite), mbstring, openssl, curl, fileinfo, gd, zip and xml.
- MySQL 5.7+ or MariaDB 10.3+, or SQLite for a small site.
- Apache with mod_rewrite (any cPanel host) or Nginx.
- Outgoing HTTPS, used to verify the license and to read the public preview of submitted links.
- Writable folders:
storage/,bootstrap/cache/,public/uploads/and the.envfile. The installer checks them for you.
