How do I update WAGroups to a new version?

1. Back up your database and files. Admin › Database backups › Create backup now takes care of the database.
2. Download the new version from your client area.
3. Upload and extract it over your existing installation. Your .env file, uploads and license file are not in the zip, so they are kept.
4. Open the admin panel. New database changes are applied, and the license is re-sealed for the new files automatically.

Read the release notes in Downloads before updating: they mention anything you need to do by hand, such as a new cron line.
