Communities do not live on one app. A cricket fan club may have a WhatsApp group for chat, a Telegram channel for scores and a Discord server for fantasy leagues. With the More Platforms extension, WAGroups lists them all.
What it adds
Four extra link types, each with its own colour, icon, button text and page:
- Telegram groups and channels (
t.me/…); - Discord server invites;
- Signal group links;
- Facebook groups.
Links are recognised as they are pasted, details are read where the platform publishes a preview, and duplicate detection works across all of them.
Organising categories
Keep categories topic-based, not platform-based: "Cricket" contains WhatsApp, Telegram and Discord links, and visitors filter by type with the chips above the list. This keeps category pages strong for search and lets visitors pick the app they prefer.
Switching types on and off
Every type can be disabled under Directory settings. If you want a WhatsApp-only directory with Telegram as a small extra, keep Telegram on and leave the others off.
Branding
A multi-platform directory deserves a neutral name. If your current brand is WhatsApp-specific, consider a broader domain for the next project — DOMAINSROCK has plenty of short .com and .in names to choose from.
